An implementation of the SADBIPWS serializer
Project description
sadbipws (Serializing And Deserializing Binarily Is Possible With Sadbipws) is a binary data serializer, a bit like BSON (binary JSON), except that it has more features. The current format definition is defined in the Python code. The SADBIPWS format is not standardized.
sadbipws is a Python 3.1+ module.
License
sadbipws is free software under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3 (or any later version). The author of sadbipws is Niels Serup, contactable at ns@metanohi.org. This is version 0.1.0 of the module.
Installation
To install sadbipws, run:
python3 setup.py install
You must be a superuser to do this.
Use
When sadbipws has been installed, it can be used just like any other Python module. To see which parts of the module are useful, and to see how those parts function, run:
pydoc3 sadbipws
sadbipws can be imported with a simple import statement.
Development
sadbipws uses Git for branches. To get the latest branch, download it from gitorious.org like this:
$ git clone git://gitorious.org/sadbipws/sadbipws.git
Logo
The sadbipws logo (located in the logo directory) has been put into the public domain (or, if that is not possible, made available under the Creative Commons Zero 1.0 license).
