almost-empty 0.4.0-beta

Create AlmostEmpty packages

AlmostEmpty is a command-line utility for creating barebones projects in a variety of languages.

An AlmostEmpty project is one which follows community-accepted structure guidelines, makes it easy for new contributors to join in, and sets you up with git hooks, Shippable, requires.io

AlmostEmpty currently supports Python, Django, Flask, Scala, and TeX projects.

Installation

AlmostEmpty is now available from PyPI! You can install the latest beta with:

pip install almost-empty –pre

Or you can build AlmostEmpty from source by cloning this repo and running:

python setup.py install

Usage

AlmostEmpty projects can be created by running:

almost-empty <language> -n <project name>

Where language is the (supported) language of your choice. Each project can be created either with or without a GitHub repository attached; you can chose to skip adding the repo right away, though you’ll miss out on a few great features (Shippable and requires.io integration, git hooks…).
