Feature

A video will be automatic uploading to AWS S3 and creating for MP4 file, HLS file and thumbnail Elastic Transcoder, when you upload video file on Plone. The video will be hosted HLS (Smart phone/Safari) or RTMP (PC browser) via CloudFront, when finished trans coding.

This system will be creating Signed URL for security content, You can see the video in 7200s (2h) at showing this Plone content. This is you could see the video, if you have view permission. This system is able to host for secure.

The uploaded video file will NOT be permanently saved, Only trans coded video file will saved on S3.

Setup

• Install by buildout

• Quick install

• Setting on AWS

  • Login to AWS

  • Create new IAM and Create KEY PAIR

  • Setting to permission for this IAM user, it’s joining Admin Group.

  • Create Cloud Front KEY PAIR and download public key and private key.

• Streaming AWS settings on Plone

  • The setting URL: http(s)://YOUR_DOMAIN/@@streaming-aws-settings (Streaming AWS setting)

  • ACCESS_KEY_ID: KEY ID of IAM

  • SECRET_ACCESS_KEY: ACCESS_KEY of IAM

  • REGION_NAME: Selecting REGION

  • TEMP_BUCKET_NAME: Temporary bucket for uploading your video, the file deleting after 1 day.

  • PRIVATE_BUCKET_NAME: Data saved bucket for your video.

  • PRIVATE_BUCKET_SUB_FOLDER: Sub folder name for needed (NOT required)

  • TRANS_CODER_PIPELINE_NAME: Name of Trans coder, it’s free word, if you want to use transcoder

  • CloudFront_KEYPAIR_ID: KEY PAIR of CloudFront

  • CloudFront_PRIVATE_KEY_STRING: Private key of CloudFront. Include of —–BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY—–.

  • Click Save button.

  • Click to Setting AWS link on top of this page. This is stating AWS setting for S3, Transcoder and CloudFront.

  • You can look at items of CloudFront_web_domain and CloudFront_rtmp_domain

  • You need to use AWS Web console. You move to your 2 CloudFront Distribution setting, you need to change Grant Read Permissions on Bucket: Yes & Save.

• You can create content StreamingVideo by Add New menu.

• Deleting video file of already no need.

• AWS S3上の不要な動画の削除

  • This system is creating new file at every upload file.

  • Deleting garbage files on S3 to click to Remove garbage on S3

特徴

Ploneのコンテンツとして動画をアップロードすると、自動的にS3にアップロードし、Elastic Transcoderにて、小さなMP4形式の動画、HLS用動画とサムネイル画像を生成します。 変換が終わると、CloudFrontを経由し、HLS(スマホ・Safariの場合)、RTMP(PCブラウザの場合)にて動画閲覧できます。

CloudFrontからの動画は、7200秒(2時間)限定のURLにて閲覧することが出来ます。 すなわち、Ploneのコンテンツへの閲覧権限がないと、CloudFrontからの動画を閲覧することが出来ません。セキュアに動画の配信が可能です。

アップロードしたファイルは変換されたもののみが永続化されます。

使い方

• buildoutでインストール

• Quick install

• AWSの設定

  • AWS にログイン

  • IAM を作り、KEY PAIRを作り、記録

  • IAM の権限設定。今回は全ての権限を渡したので、Adminsグループに追加＜＜TODO: 修正したい

  • CloudFrontのKEY PAIRを作り、公開鍵と秘密鍵をダウンロード

• Streaming AWS settings で設定

  • 管理画面URL: http(s)://YOUR_DOMAIN/@@streaming-aws-settings (コントロールパネルから「Streaming AWS setting」リンクから遷移可能)

  • ACCESS_KEY_ID: IAMのKEY ID

  • SECRET_ACCESS_KEY: IAMのACCESS_KEY

  • REGION_NAME: 選択する

  • TEMP_BUCKET_NAME: ビデオファイルの仮置きのバケット、このビデオファイルは1日で削除されます (任意の文字(グローバルで一意になっている必要がある))

  • PRIVATE_BUCKET_NAME: ビデオファイルの最終的な置き場 (任意の文字(グローバルで一意になっている必要がある))

  • PRIVATE_BUCKET_SUB_FOLDER: サブフォルダ(必要な場合) (任意の文字)

  • TRANS_CODER_PIPELINE_NAME: トランスコーダの名称 (任意の文字) (変換が必要な場合)

  • CloudFront_KEYPAIR_ID: CloudFrontのKEY PAIR

  • CloudFront_PRIVATE_KEY_STRING: CloudFrontの秘密鍵を入力 (—–BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY—–を含めて)

  • 保存

  • このページの上記の “Setting AWS” リンクをクリックし、S3の設定、Trans Coderの設定、CloudFrontの設定が行われる

  • その後、CloudFront_web_domain と CloudFront_rtmp_domain が表示される

  • その後、CloudFrontの2つのDistributionに対して、「Grant Read Permissions on Bucket: Yes」にして保存し直す

• 新規アイテムの追加で、「StreamingVideo」を選択しコンテンツを追加

• AWS S3上の不要な動画の削除

  • Ploneがアップロードするたびに、S3上に新規に動画ファイルが配置される。つまりS3上にゴミが残る。

  • 管理画面URL: http(s)://YOUR_DOMAIN/@@manage-s3-video (コントロールパネルから「Manage S3 Videos」リンクから遷移可能)

  • 「Remove garbage on S3」をクリックすると、Ploneに存在しないコンテンツ(つまり紐付きされていない)をS3から削除 ＜＜TODO: バグで動作してない
